Part of our family of wines since 1982, this classic Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon from the heart of Napa Valley remains one of our most beloved. “In a word: Impressive.” — Antonio Galloni of Vinous
TASTING NOTES
Rich and balanced, this wine displays flavors of toast and vanilla, mingled with blackberry and tart red currant. The finish is long, juicy and simply delicious.
$70 / Bottle
Groth’s first white wine to carry the Oakville appellation, the Estate White is sourced exclusively from our family’s Oakville Estate, in blocks once reserved for growing Cabernet Sauvignon.
TASTING NOTES
Dominant flavors of lime, marmalade and then just a touch of tropical guava. The wine finishes clean and has a nice round, fresh mouthfeel.
$50 / Bottle
Launched with the 2018 vintage, Groth’s Oakville Neighbors Series explores the diversity of Oakville Cabernet through single-vineyard grower lots that stand on their own as a distinct expression of the appellation.
TASTING NOTES
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon shows of caramel, blackberry, spice and pencil lead. An appealing profile of dark fruit flavors dominates the palate, complemented by fine, mouth-coating tannins. The finish reveals layers of black cherry, cocoa powder and tart berry.
$75 / Bottle
Oakcross Proprietary Red represents our family’s continued focus on exploring the potential of our Oakville Estate and the broader Oakville AVA.
TASTING NOTES
Plush, soft and balanced, with perfectly resolved tannins and flavors of tart plum skin and rich, dark berries.
$99 / Bottle
Our Cabernet Sauvignon represents the finest lots from the Reserve Vineyard, a 28-acre band on the Groth family’s Oakville Estate in the heart of Napa Valley. This historic wine was awarded 96 points from Wine Spectator and Antonio Galloni of Vinous. This iconic wine has been making history for 40 years.
TASTING NOTES
When tasting the wine, the first impression is the fine tannin and balanced acid, which then leads to boysenberry, blackberry and ripe plum skin. The finish is seamless and smooth — the hallmark of a Groth Reserve Cabernet.
