The 2023 Groth Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautifully expressive Oakville wine, opening with aromas of crushed blackberry, rhubarb pie, blueberry sauce, cocoa powder, and charred tomato, with a hint of grilled padrón peppers. On the palate, dark plum, black tea, peppercorn, violets, and Luxardo cherry unfold into a finish of firm yet silky tannins, showcasing depth, elegance, and classic Oakville character.

The Cabernet Sauvignon fruit is grown on our sustainably farmed Oakville Estate vineyards and those of several partner growers, all within the Oakville AVA, in the heart of Napa Valley. The fruit is night-harvested, cluster sorted by hand, crushed, then fermented at our Oakville Estate winery. Coming from a diverse selection of vineyards, this wine showcases the complexity and diversity within this compact AVA.

This wine pairs beautifully with rich, flavorful dishes such as grilled ribeye steak, roasted lamb chops, and roasted duck breast with a natural reduction sauce, as the wine’s bold tannins and vibrant acidity complement the richness of these dishes. Risotto with fresh herbs, or Pasta Carbonara, also complements the wine’s complexity.

When will I receive my wine?

Ground shipping orders will arrive in 7-10 business days, except in extreme weather, when orders will be held until safe to ship. Orders with Overnight, 2-Day, and 3-Day shipping will ship the same business day if placed by 9 a.m. Pacific. We do not ship over the weekend.

When will I receive my tracking information?

Your tracking information will be emailed to you once your package is scanned and the wine is in transit.

SHIPPING DEADLINES:

Orders placed by 9 a.m. Monday through Friday will ship the same business day. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will ship the following business day.
