Taste the history of Oakville — and Groth — while hearing insider stories of how this former steam train stop became one of the world’s top regions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Learn how the Groth family’s faith in their land, relationships with neighbors and hard work made their dream of making fine wine here a reality. This session is led by Suzanne Groth, who grew up in Napa Valley and is now Groth’s second-generation President & CEO, and Michael Weis, who retired from Groth as Winemaker Emeritus in 2020 after a distinguished 26-year career with the winery. His impressive background also includes work at Robert Mondavi Winery and Vichon.

Shipping Information

Where can you ship to?

All states except AL, AR, DE, IN, LA, MS, OK, RI, UT, WV and WY. Please note it remains illegal to ship wine to any community in the state of Kentucky that prohibits the local sale of alcohol ("dry communities").

When will I receive my wine?

Ground shipping orders will arrive in 7-10 business days. Orders with Overnight, 2-Day and 3-Day shipping will ship the same business day if placed by 9 a.m. Pacific. We do not ship over the weekend.

When will I receive my tracking information?

Your tracking information will be emailed to you once your package is scanned and the wine is in transit.

HEAT HOLDS IN EFFECT:

Due to extreme temperatures in many areas, orders with ground shipping will be held indefinitely to ensure wine is not damaged in transit. For summer delivery, please select 2-Day Air or UPS Summer Solution Overnight shipping.

Orders placed by 9 a.m. Pacific Monday through Thursday will ship the same business day. Orders placed Friday, Saturday and Sunday will ship the following business day.

GROTH WINE SOCIETY MEMBER SHIPPING RATES:

  • UPS Ground: $15 per order
  • 2-Day Air via UPS or FedEx: $35 per order
  • UPS Summer Solution Overnight: $50 per case (minimum order of one case; available mid-May to mid-October)
